English First students
EF English First caters to English language students of all ages and occupations. Different unique programs have been developed for each of the different language levels. Regardless of which student profile you teach English language to, you will be meeting and training the current and future leaders of the country in which you work.
Our young learner students range in age from 18 months to 18 years. EF has designed its own language teaching curriculum to meet the needs of students of different age groups as they grow. The EF curriculum for young English language students is divided into five stages to cover all the fundamentals of English language while indulging the student's individual curiosity to learn.
Young Learners
Adult students
Adult students are typically professionals over 18 years old who are interested in expanding their horizons by mastering the language skills while pursuing their careers or university studies. With our cutting-edge English teaching resources, our English language students have the flexibility to learn both in the classroom and online in their spare time.
Corporate students
EF also provides language training programs for corporate English language students who are generally mid and senior level executives at Fortune 500 companies and multinational organizations such as Lenovo and FedEx. Classes are tailor-made to target their individual needs and incorporate industry-specific language skills.
Teaching resources
What sets EF apart from other English language schools is our dedication to developing quality English language teaching resources and educational curriculum. For younger learners, our global product development team designs, writes and publishes its own custom series of textbooks with accompanying animation. For adult students, our team develops customized multimedia series to guide our English teaching curriculum.

Salary & benefits
Working with English First in China you will be earning an excellent salary along with a generous benefits. Teachers can enjoy a very comfortable lifestyle in China while still saving 20% – 50% of their salaries.

Excellent salary: 7,000 to 13,000 RMB depending on qualifications, experience and school location

Accommodation: free shared Western style accommodation, near the school or a housing allowance (depending on the city/school)

Flight allowance: 7,000 – 10,000 RMB, half payable after 6 months, half after 12 months

Legal ‘Z’ work visa provided
