Meet Nathan - Director of teacher placement

Nathan has travelled extensively and lived in China for almost 5 years now. He's experienced first hand the highes (and sometimes the lows) of living here so he uses this knowledge to inform teachers what to expect when they arrive here. He has multiple years in both the ESL & recruitment sectors and uses this knowledge to place teachers into schools that fully match their needs, expectations and overall requirements.

After setting up the company in 2009, he's helped 100's of native English speaking teachers to be placed into reliable schools in over 50 different cities nationwide.

His extrovert, sometimes over the top personality allows him to engage with teachers on a personal level and provide friendly ongoing support to teachers before, during and after their arrival.

"'After coming to China 5 years ago as a teacher myself and being placed into a (well let's just say awful) English school by a so called 'reliable agency' i knew things needed to change. I started by helping a few schools locally and due to the high demand started working with all kinds of reliable schools throughout China in assisting them find teachers that wanted to teach English in China. I love my job, i love helping others realize their dreams. It makes it especially worthwhile when we receive compliments from the teachers we have placed. My job is often demanding but i am glad to hear that teachers are being careful about the schools they choose - After all they are moving to a completely new country and i'd rather teachers ask as many questions as possible with us than jumping into a position with other agencies too quickly!"

Meet Danni - Teacher placement advisor

Well travelled and full of life Danni has recently joined our team to meet the demand of helping teachers to find reliable teaching jobs in China.

Originally from Germany, Danni's job is to ensure teachers are informed of all the latest teaching jobs in China and to work with them in order to find the most suitable job.

Her extensive travel and cultural knowledge along with her masters degree in Philanthropy makes her the ideal choice when choosing a teaching position. She shows real care and passion to both teachers and schools and works closely with both to ensure everyone smiles : )

After completing an internship within China at a different company i decided i wanted to stay in China and give back to those that wanted to come to China too. That's when i found out about Recruit 4 China ESL recruitment hiring needs. I was immediately interested. I love every aspect about my job especially to those teachers that are wanting to come to China for the chance of a lifetime. Even better knowing that teachers don't pay a penny to find a teaching job in China.

Everyday i love hearing the stories from both schools and teachers and i can see myself living in China for a very long time. It's amazing to think i only came here for 3 months and that 4 years ago!

Meet Karen - Teacher placement advisor

Until 2011, Karen was working as a recruitment consultant in the UK until she decided she wanted to escape the rat race and teach English in China. She applied for one of our English teaching positions and just 2 months later she was having the time of her life, meeting new friends and travelling throughout Asia whilst getting paid to teach English.

After successfully completing 2 one year contracts, she wanted to combine her passions in life: HR, travel & China! Since then Karen has been a key part to the team and she's more than happy to have long conversations about any aspect of living in China.

I was seriously fed up of living back home in the UK and that's when i decided to apply to teach English in China. After studying in Philadelphia, USA and majoring in International Trade, Gil has returned to her home town here in Lianyungang, Jiangsu, China on her families orders to find a husband.

Gil's work consists of matching teachers with suitable schools and ensuring schools provide us with in depth job descriptions to provide teachers.

Her bubbly outgoing personality allows her to communicate with both schools & teachers well and she makes sure teachers are happy with the schools they choose.

"I've only been working here a few months now, and although my dream was to stay in America, i'm really enjoying it. I'm happy speaking English everday and making other people happy. My job is busy and different everyday which i love, because i hate being bored. This job allows me to help others which i think is great! I especially enjoy finding schools when teachers have very specific needs or requests, i'm up for the challenge!

Meet Cara - School Liason

With several years experience working in the education consulting industry, Cara joined our team just under 2 years ago. She graduated from Nanjing University of Technology in 2011 with a masters degree in Business English.

Since then, Cara has worked in several ESL companies in Beijing & Nanjing and recently returned here to her home town to marry her future husband.

Cara's role is to ensure all teachers' requests are met and following up with schools during the working visa process. She also contacts teachers after their arrival to ensure things are running smoothly with the school and to provide on going support.

"Although i have worked in major cities like Beijing & Nanjing, i prefer to work here in my hometown. Also this company is different to others i have worked for previously. Its more fun and exciting. Although we take our work very seriously, we are able to communicate with teachers in a friendly manner and can chat to them about their lives as well as about the jobs we have available. I like offering a personal approach which was not used in my previous job. Now that i'll marry, i'm sure i will stay here for a long time".
